“And he [Naaman] has a river problem. He does. And many of us don't want to wash in a river because we feel that our rivers are better…. And because of that, he [Naaman] lost out—he could have lost out on being healed and being restored. I was in that position. I don't want to dip myself and wash myself in that river because we have something better. Which apparently was the Kingdom message, and you know, Word of Faith and all this great stuff that was out there—but so unbalanced. And one of them was, of course, end times. And I mocked it many times… eventually Naaman goes and washes himself in the river and he is restored. Don't reject this river [Missler’s] because you think that what you have is better. We need rivers to restore us. And I am proud to say that the Lord God, through my wife, brought this representative of that river to us [Missler], so we could be restored and have a healthy outlook and preach the gospel, and win the lost, touch the untouchable, and reach the unreachable. And that's what we’re gonna do! ...”

“This is what it is. I was very desperate to hear the truth about the Second Coming and about the Rapture.... In the meantime, my wife, who by the way, for thirty-something years basically trusted what I taught... she knew there was a gap somewhere… she was searching and getting—listening to different teachers. And she was getting passionate. And then I heard this voice… I'd said to Greg [Wark], Greg just tell me of a teacher that can tell us the whole thing, uh, in a nutshell. So I don't have to spend days and hours and weeks learning. And Greg said there's only one man that I can guarantee will teach you and impart something on you. His name is Dr. Chuck Missler. And I said to Greg. Okay, I'll let Jane listen to him… She's been telling me about Isaiah 53 being the Holy of Holies and all this stuff. And I've been listening to what he's been saying. And so I asked the Lord to do what He did with Cornelius. Cornelius prayed. I pray a lot. Cornelius gave alms and God sent the very best to him. And He sent—and I know Dr. Chuck won't even acknowledge this—but I said to the Lord, 'Send me the best for my people, cause I love my people'. For thirty six years I fought being a pastor, you know that. And then He gave me all these people. We have an online church of almost 15 thousand people. I said, 'why are you doing this? I'm not a good pastor.' Well, apparently, I am, because I got the best. And so I believe that we're going to be taught. And this is the beginning of a moment in destiny that I believe is God-orchestrated long before we were born."

ANALYZING CHUCK MISSLER’S ‘STREAM’
For the past few years, we have documented the ever-mystical leanings of notable Bible teacher and author, Chuck Missler, ultimately listing him among a group of evangelical teachers we’ve dubbed ‘Postmodern Prophecy Paradigm’ (PPP) leaders, because of their gravitation away from sound truth revealed in Scripture alone, coupled with their feverish efforts to re-fashion end-times prophecy to fit their extra-biblical speculations. We have written extensively and in detail of these seductive, morphing departures from the Word of God.[v] The end result has been a toxic mixture of truth and error—leading away from Christ and headlong into the occult.

In 2007, Missler drew yet another type of controversy when he appeared on the speaking platform with a group of NAR prophets, mystics, and teachers, for the Quantum Leap2 conference—co-sponsored by the extreme prophetic entity, TheElijahList.[x]
It was therefore a curious thing to discover that NAR prophet Kim Clement had hosted Chuck Missler for a 3-day End Times Conference—beginning on January 9th of this year—desirous to “wash” in Missler’s “river”[xi] (see the first quote at the top of this post). On Day 2 of this conference, Missler announced to the energetic crowd present, and to his untold video audience, “we sense a real partnership emerging between Kim and myself”[xii] (see the bottom quote at the top of this post).
So, who is Prophet Kim Clement and what sort of partnership might this merge into?
“Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” (Jer. 2:12-13)

Just as he began to feel life leaving him, a hand reached out and lifted him from death. The hand belonged to a Christian man who shared the message of Christ with Kim. That night, his life drained from a knife wound to his chest. After scores passed by, a stranger picked him up, carried him to his car, and drove him to a hospital. The stranger was a Christian. "I was in a nightclub and someone walked up to me and stabbed me in the chest. In my confusion, I staggered out into the street and collapsed. I remembered then what an Anglican minister had said to me when I was 9 years old. He said, ‘Jesus walks the streets still today. One day you will need him, just call on him and he will touch you.'" (Kim Clement) From that day forward, Kim was a follower of Christ and dedicated his life to sharing that precious message.[xiii] [bold added]
Unfortunately, this “precious message” is NOT the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 15:1-8). There is no mention of godly sorrow and contrite repentance for the unrighteous behaviors that led up to Clement’s unfortunate attack—nor is there any recognition of Christ’s death upon the Cross that propitiated that sin—so that he could be washed clean of his iniquities and saved from eternal death.

To better minister to his flock, Clement says that he spends considerable time in his personal prayer ‘Garden’, where he claims to receive special insights from God that he then shares with his ‘Royal Guard’ partners (his flock), via social media. Other Garden messages can be accessed on Clement’s website:
And then I do little messages from my ‘Garden’. Now, my Garden is a very special place. It's where I go and pray every day--the first thing in the morning and then in the evening. And then on a Sunday, after we've done The Den, I bring all of your requests into the Garden and bring them before the Lord. And sometimes, I stay there for hours. And on a Saturday after The Den, we post on Facebook. And we say this: 'Post your prayer request now.’ And we have sometimes up to three thousand people sending in their prayer requests, and then they write in telling us the big breakthroughs they have.
That's what I have dedicated myself to doing. But sometimes, especially if you're a partner of mine, and you can become a partner. And we have two kinds of partnerships—and they're affordable. One is called ‘The Royal Guard’. The Royal Guard covers everything. And I send special messages from the Garden. Sometimes before I prophesy something, I will send it from my Garden to you. No one else gets it. You get footage that nobody else gets—behind the scenes stuff; an array of things that you can enjoy.[xviii]
In other words, only paying members receive these ‘special messages’ that are ‘affordable’ that Clement purportedly receives from ‘God’ in his Garden—a practice that the God of the Bible abhors. The Apostle Peter said to Simon the Sorcerer, (who attempted to buy what only the Holy Spirit could give), “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.” (Acts 8:20. See also Rev. 22:17.)

At the Den on a Saturday, which is live at twelve o’clock Pacific, we also have what we call ‘Codebreakers’. Codebreakers is very exciting. Because Sunil Isaac takes the words that I've prophesied, and with a group of people, we do research. And they find out where this is being fulfilled--where in the world--whether it's in the Middle East, whether it's in the Far East, America--politically, socially, spiritually, religiously. It's a vast domain of information. And it helps a lot of people.[xix]
There is no mention of how Clement’s “Den” got its name, but it is a curious title for a so-called prophet of God, considering that wolves are most commonly associated with dens. Wolves, of course, are associated with false teachers and false prophets in the Scripture (Matt. 7:15; 10:16; Acts 20:29.)
Instead of proclaiming Christ and Him crucified, Clement’s mission is to offer earthly hope and security to a world of hurting people through inspirational and uplifting messages:
Our mission is to reach out with God’s message of hope and love to all who will hear it, regardless of their place in life. We reach the lost, the hurt and broken, the cynical and jaded, the forgotten, the rejected, the rich and the poor alike. We do not bring discrimination or judgment, but inspire hope through an uplifting message, bringing restoration to life and the future, and often healing from the past.[xx]
In stark contrast to the Prophet Jeremiah—the ‘weeping prophet’—Kim Clement is known as ‘the singing prophet’[xxi] who refuses to warn of God’s judgment, but instead endeavors to uplift and empower his listeners:
The prophet is an instrument of God. His words always bring hope and enrichment to the individual and community. Through his connection with the Lord, the prophet offers the individual a connection "in the moment" to God and Christ. The experience for the listener is an opportunity to let go of their past, their pain, and their cynicism, to accept the grace and love of God. The listener is made aware that empowerment and life-long enrichment is a gift offered and that their opportunity is acceptance.[xxii]
Rather than calling sinners to repentance and proclaiming what God has already written in His Word, Clement, sitting behind a microphone attached to his piano, offers “an array of spiritual delicacies” and “treasury of teachings” to his listeners not found in the Bible:
If you are flawless, you are not welcome. If you are perfect, you are not welcome. But, if you bear scars because of wounds that you’ve received, maybe from religion, maybe just bad decisions, then you're at the right place. And I offer an array of delicacies--spiritually… I have a treasury of teachings that I offer the people.
Most people are afraid of prophets because they think of prophets as human beings that have a gift to judge and to bring judgment. But that's not the case, and that’s not the truth.
Isaiah said these words: he said, ‘The Lord has anointed me and given me the tongue of the learned that I should speak a word in season to those who are weary.’ And that's what God gave me the power to do--to speak a word, in season, and to those who are weary.[xxiii]
But it was not Isaiah’s God-given mission to comfort sinners without calling them to repentance—in fact, Isaiah announced God’s warning of judgment to those who remained disobedient to Him! The written record of the major and minor prophets of the Old and New testaments loudly deny Clement’s defined role as the Lord’s prophet.
Also, rather than directly citing a biblical passage (enabling hearers to verify his statements with Scripture), Clement makes a practice of loosely referencing biblical figures and events to fit his unique theology. Clement’s above quote was taken from Isaiah 50:4, which actually alludes to the Lord Jesus Christ, not Isaiah.
Also unlike the Prophet Isaiah, Clement proclaims a false, non-offensive gospel fashioned to draw crowds and multiply ministry donors. Note how cleverly Clement twists Matthew 5:16, while massaging the prosperity gospel, in order to justify the role of his flock in financially supporting his global ministry:
People have become millionaires because of words that I've received, because that's what God wants. He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His people. Some people say, ‘well, do you believe in a prosperity gospel?' I believe in good news. And I believe that when you are equipped financially, you can do good works.
I've found very few people that are poor that can do good works--massive works--when I say good works--people do good things, but Jesus said these words, he said, 'Let your light so shine before men that they see your good works and glorify my Father who is in heaven,’ which means that is the gospel: doing good works. So I believe, yes, that God wants to prosper His people not only because I believe it personally, but because it's in the bible.
Some of the greatest, most powerful people, were the richest people on earth. Why should the evil and the wicked have all the money? So, I believe in giving offerings. And we do it in a very unique fashion. I allow you to hear God. That's the first thing we do. I pray and I say, 'ask the Lord what He wants you to give.’[xxiv]
In opposition to Clement’s prosperity preaching, the Lord Jesus Christ had a different message from the same Sermon on the Mount that Clement quoted above. He commanded His people not to lay up treasures on earth, and to serve Him alone, not mammon (riches):
“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also…No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” (Matt. 6:19-21, 24)

The notorious 7-Mountain Mandate leader Lance Wallnau,[xxvii] who spoke alongside Clement at the 2008 Prophetic Blast conference in Chicago,[xxviii] explains Clement’s mystical, prophetic abilities:
I once asked a proven prophetic voice, a friend named Kim Clement, “how do you hear God when on the platform?” It was really quite amazing to watch.
He said he listened till he separated the voice of the person’s own spirit-man, which could be pulling on him in a certain direction. Then he separated the devil’s voice trying to intimidate him. Then he separated his own voice and the way it was handling the pressure of the audience upon him. Whatever remained, was God.[xxix]
Tragically for Clement and his followers, he has just described an exercise in occult mysticism,[xxx] not sound biblical practice. But this is Clement’s distinctive, mystical-music method of prophecy.
Here is how Clement’s website translates this “inspired musical expression”:
To many, Kim is known as the "singing prophet." If you've ever attended a live gathering, you know that music is a major part of the message that Kim brings to his audiences, and at times, music is the message. From the strike of the first note, the journey begins. Those that listen with their heart know it’s not just praise and worship; it’s [sic] prophecy, designed by inspired musical expressions. "God is speaking and we translate the sound through the music", says Kim. There are times when Kim never leaves the piano, and yet, in the music the message is complete.
Another distinct characteristic of this prophetic musical genre is the spontaneity of this creative emergence, as much of Kim’s musical performance is completely unrehearsed and unplanned. Kim has created a new genre of "prophetic" music. The unbidden nature of his musical presentation ignites an emergence of creativity that is undeniable to all who witness it.
"Not knowing where we are going always leaves an unsettled feeling, but it drives us to find the ‘song of the Lord’ every single time we gather. It’s the most exciting thing to have to rely on the creativity of the Spirit during each performance. Together, we wait to discover ‘the mood of the Spirit throughout the gathering, and in these special moments, every note played is prophetic." (Kim Clement)[xxxi]

Clement further explains this so-called prophetic “song of the Lord”:
I'm also a musician. I'm a professional musician, but I gave my talent to God. And so, I'm a psalmist. So when you join me in praise and worship you're not just gonna sing songs that you know or that you've been taught, you're gonna sing what we call a 'new song'.
What is that? Psalm four, verse three, 'He has put a new song in my mouth. Many will see it and fear, and trust in the Lord.’ These new songs are written about in Ephesians as well, where Paul speaks about singing songs--to one another--and encouraging one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs.
Now, some of you may be saying, ‘Well, isn't a psalm and hymn a 'spiritual song?’ These are—psalms and hymns—are songs that have been written out of experience. But spiritual songs—that's your song. That's your personal song that God puts into you. And you can sing it, and we give you that opportunity on a Saturday when we sing at the Den, where there's a moment where everybody just sings.
What happens is it unlocks a prophetic voice from inside of you. What—what is more easy than that? Think about it. You can actually sing along with us and suddenly you find yourself prophesying. This is what I do for the people of God…”[xxxii]
But Clement’s explanation of “a new song”, i.e., “a spiritual song” is not biblical. Pastor Larry DeBruyn, teaching on Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:16, correctly identifies such music as “me-centered,” “carnal,” and “mystical,” because it is divorced from Christ and His Word:
But absent the word of Christ in it, music without a message is not worship. Such music will neither teach nor admonish others in the faith. It may be entertainment. It may provide emotional catharsis, but in so doing the songs become me-centered and in such a centering, are therefore carnal, and not spiritual...
Worship songs that teach and admonish must do so with lyrics containing “the word of Christ” which glorifies the Lord and promotes “one-anothering” in the local body of Christ.
Absent their conveyance logos truth, reasonably discerned as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, the only basis of appeal of the music is in the mystical realm.[xxxiii]
In reality, Clement’s mystical music is actually a vehicle to condition his audience—to make them susceptible to his extra-biblical revelations, and think that they are closer to God than those unfortunate souls not present in the praise and worship. “Presence” theology is sweeping through the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), especially in the International House of Prayer (IHOP) movement, as we have documented extensively.[xxxiv] A recent Herescope post sums up this heresy:
The doctrine of the IHOP believes that these mass youth stadium rallies are for the “purpose” of invoking the “presence” of God through generated “passion.” These three terms – passion, presence and purpose – are derived from some very strange esoteric doctrines that originated in the Latter Rain/Manifest Sons of God cult.
“Presence” is popular. Recently Warren Smith published a book in which he made us aware of an increasingly popular belief that Christians can invoke the “presence” of “God” (or “Jesus”) by their contemplative activities.[8] But there is another practice of “presence” that is taking the evangelical world by storm. In the IHOP/NAR the passionate invocation of the “presence” (which they call the “Spirit”) isn’t just done via contemplative meditation. They believe that the “presence” is achieved via the elaborate staging of flashy lighting, noisy music and hypnotic manipulations in the context of what they call “worship.”
The clear intent is to create an altered state of consciousness – a spiritual/emotive state in which the participant is susceptible to heretical suggestions, “feels” closer to God, and learns that he/she may even become a god.[9] Thus their “passion” is believed to invoke the “presence” of God.[xxxv]
Clement weaves this “presence” teaching throughout every one of his prophetic utterances. Solemn, mood-evoking music plays continuously in the background, and sometimes the prophet himself solos on the piano. An example of this took place during a January 24 “Prophetic Alert” video that Clement hosted at the Den. Clement shared a vision he purportedly had from God concerning a “pending” terror attack on the United States—but not on the same scale as the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks—he assured his listeners. Before giving further details of this prophetic dream, Clement directs a strange comment to his digital audience:
The revelation that I received—or the dream that I received was about an attack—a terror attack in the United States of America. Now, most people would say, ‘well, that’s pretty obvious.’ It’s not actually, because I’ve had a prophecy that, uh, there wouldn't be another 911—uh, kind of terror attack—uh, meaning that not on that scale. So, I know that there are so many of you watching all over the world--and we have a live audience—by the way, who are privileged to be in the presence of God in the actual building. And, uh, it does make a difference. So, I encourage you to--if you have the opportunity to actually come here, you’ll notice the difference. It’s unbelievable. So—so we're going to go into praise and then hopefully God will expound on what I received.[xxxvi]
In other words, the live audience (those present with Clement) is “privileged to be in the presence of God in the actual building.” The thousands of others, not present, are NOT in God’s presence. This is heresy. Pastor Larry DeBruyn has written an excellent apologetic in refutation of such “presence” teachings titled, “The Present of ‘His Presence’: ‘Emmanuel’–God is with us?’” Note his edifying conclusions for all believers:
Not only is God “with” us, but under terms of the New Covenant, He’s “in” us! He’s present in/with us at all times and through all the experiences of life, death and eternity. That is why the Lord Jesus described His gift to believers as “eternal life” (John 3:15, 16, 36; 6:40; 10:28; 17:2-3). In continuum, the Lord’s presence resides with/in believers from now into eternity, and His presence we cultivate through faith in God’s Word, not through ascetical practices or devotional invocations.[xxxvii] [bold added]
Note also that “going into praise” would activate a deeper understanding of Clement’s initial revelation concerning the potential attack on America. Clement also tells his listening crowd that their praise participation might prevent such an attack from occurring altogether. Pay attention to what Clement says next:
It was so overwhelming that when I was in my Garden this morning praying, the Spirit of God came on me, and uh, it was really overwhelming. Uh, when I saw specific places and I had to say to the Lord, 'What do you want me to reveal? What do you want me to say without endangering myself?’ I’m not exaggerating—at all. Um, the way He's been sharing secrets with me and things, uh, that are—well, they're pending. Let me put it that way. I think that prayer can make a difference. No, no, I don't think so, I know prayer can make a difference. I’m hoping in this instance, it does. Yes. You know, Ephesians chapter 6. I, I, I’m a prayer warrior, and so I pray a lot. But when I was, uh—Ephesians 6 came to me this morning, where it says that we must come to Him with various kinds of prayers—different kinds of prayers. So, they're different levels of prayer. I need you—all of you watching me--to join me in praying when we praise Him. There—you always see this happening with me. Something will happen and I’ll start praying or proclaiming. What you need to do is join us when that happens, please.[xxxviii]
As Clement continues, it is clear that he is telling his audience that God will only be able to prevent another terror attack on America—if they engage in sufficient spiritual warfare (through “praise” with him) to defeat the “demonic principality” that has entered into the “air” over the United States!:
Because as I was praying earlier, there's a demonic principality that has entered into the United States air—into the air, the atmosphere. Uh, it is because—[coughs] excuse me. It is because of what is happening on the top—the very top level at the White House. And decisions being made right now. Uh, I've never seen this before, but I, uh, I mean I didn't see this as clearly before—visitations and demonic strongholds coming in. I don't like to labor on the point of demons, but they are—we are in a spiritual war. Ephesians clearly tells us that we are in a spiritual war. It also says in Corinthians that we have a—we—the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they're mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. So what the enemy has to do is he has to get into the head of the people. He has to—that's why news media is so important and so powerful. They have to get into the mind and to the soul of the people. And so it is our prayer that God will break that principality down. But I fear for the people, uh, that this, um, the terror attack will take place.”[xxxix]
So, according to this dynamic, the more participants working up the passion from below the better to thwart the catastrophic fulfillment of his frightening prophecy. But this is a terrible heresy that takes a direct strike against the sovereignty of God. It brings God down, and lifts fallible sinners to a place God never intended them to be. Similar spiritual warfare doctrines are espoused by the Postmodern Prophecy Paradigm crowd who also abuse Ephesians 6 and 2 Corinthians 10. We addressed this issue in a 2011 article called, “Militant Prayer: Taking Spiritual Dominion over Dark Angels.” In it, we commented on “the pulling down of strongholds”:
A careful examination of 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, which is also frequently cited to justify this hyper-spiritual warfare, will reveal that “strongholds” (fortresses) are “speculations” and “thoughts” that come against God’s Truth and which lead us into disobedience and sin. We “destroy” these by knowing God’s Word, and obeying it through the power of the indwelling Spirit of God, not by exercising authority over demons. This “taking on the devil” mentality via Strategic Level (warfare prayer) and Techno-Dimensional Spiritual Warfare (militant prayer) negates the Lord’s sovereignty. Furthermore, when Satan and his emissaries are blamed for all ills plaguing a fallen world and mankind—“the devil/demons made me do it”—there is a profound diminishing of the Gospel message of Salvation. [xl] [bold added]
A week later during another “Prophetic Alert” broadcast, Clement announced plans to go to Paris with his team—and to Israel, in order to minister to the victims of the latest radical Muslim terrorist attacks. The broadcast began with a video of a small child singing (in Hebrew) while playing with toys in an Israeli bomb shelter. Graphic images from the Holocaust, embellished with a powerful musical score, followed. And then the “praise worship” began. During a short break in the music, Clements says this:
What do we do? We pray. We conduct spiritual warfare. I am going to Europe and Israel to conduct spiritual warfare again! And I have the power to do it—because He instructed me to do this. And so that's why we're going. All I need is for you to be a part of that mission [through donations].[xli]
And so, in Clement’s bankrupt economy (and bankrupt ethics), the Lord God (who is apparently impotent to control the forces of darkness), has given him the power and instruction to go to these terror-ridden locales in order to defeat these demonic principalities—but even he will not succeed without sufficient financing from the masses.
“… I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. I feel something very deep happening between ourselves as a team and you [Missler] as a people and a team. We just want to thank you for coming here to us and blessing us, Dr. Chuck Missler. We, uh, feel a divine connection and destiny being revealed today. So, we want to thank you again.”

Chuck Missler has apparently had a very dramatic effect on Clement. In the quotes above, Clement calls their encounter “a divine connection.” He also frequently refers to Missler as the “General”[xliv], which is the highest ranking level within the armed forces. This lofty title imparts to Missler a level of credibility that perhaps he does not possess. This is why Christians do not hold rank:
“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.” (1 Cor. 26-29)

Sadly, instead of mining truths from God’s Word himself, Clement turns himself, his wife Jane, and his thousands of followers over to “the very, very, very best” Bible teacher that (he thinks) God has: Dr. Chuck Missler:
I'd said to Greg [Wark, a former pastor],[xlv] Greg just tell me of a teacher that can tell us the whole thing, uh, in a nutshell. So I don't have to spend days and hours and weeks learning. And Greg said there's only one man that I can guarantee will teach you and impart something on you. His name is Dr. Chuck Missler. And I said to Greg. Okay, I'll let Jane listen to him…[xlvi]
Clement also appears to be especially enamored with Missler’s end-time teachings dealing with the nation of Israel—so much so that he is already incorporating some of them into his recent “Prophetic Alert” broadcasts. On January 28, in the same video with images of a toddler singing and playing in an Israeli bomb shelter, alongside graphic depictions of the Holocaust, Clement (behind his piano), makes this prophetic declaration to his live and online audience:
What you are seeing today was written by the prophets of old. Psalm 83 declared that all of these nations would surround Israel and say ‘let us cut them off from the land of the living, that there is no longer the name Israel’. That’s what it says. Not only has this happened for centuries or endeavored, but now we are seeing it before our very eyes. We are the generation that are experiencing—very possibly—Psalm 83.[xlvii]

It is no coincidence that Clement is talking about a fulfillment of the “Psalm 83” prophecy. Missler adopted this relatively new and controversial view of Psalm 83 from fellow PPP teacher and Tom Horn publishee, Bill Salus, author of Isralestine and PSALM 83, The Missing Prophecy Revealed – How Israel Becomes the Next Mideast Superpower.[xlviii] The thrust of this ‘missing prophecy’ is that Israel’s modern Muslim neighbors will engage her in a major end-time war that precedes the Tribulation—but will be completely destroyed by Israel—enabling the Jewish nation to finally live in relative peace for a season.
In 2010, Missler published an article in the April issue of his Personal Update news journal, “A Surprise in Psalm 83? The Magog Invasion: An Alternative View,” highlighting the details of these peculiar teachings on Psalm 83.[xlix] Note Missler’s stimulating conclusions (and his familiar refrain that readers ‘blindfold their presuppositions’ in order to be open to new truth):
This, then, would seem to set the stage for the subsequent events of Ezekiel 38 and 39. If this view is correct, there may be a huge surprise ready to unfold that will totally restructure the Middle East!
“The only certain barrier to truth is the presumption you already have it.” Our challenge is to keep an open mind and study diligently, continually reexamining the numerous presuppositions that tend to blind us all. We are, indeed, entering one of the most exciting times in the history of the Planet Earth! May the Holy Spirit be your personal guide as you continue your “treasure hunt” of searching the Holy Scriptures to prove that these things are so![l]
Not only has Clement seemingly embraced this particular end-time teaching, touted by Missler (and many other PPP advocates),[li] but he encourages his followers to drink in what he has learned from a man he considers to be one of God’s “very best” mouthpieces.[lii] Later on in this same “Prophetic Alert” video, Clement exhorts his audience to join Missler’s Koinonia Institute:
So, if you want to learn more about Israel and more about these end-time events, please go and listen to what we—to Dr. Chuck Missler in our House of Destiny, which is my online church. Go in there, find it, and you’ll be fascinated at the stuff that he was teaching. And there’s so much more that he has to teach. Or, you can go to K—K-House—excuse me—K-House.org and begin studying the bible as a student. KHouse.org. Start with the bronze. My wife, she started the bronze, and so have I. We're going to do the whole course. And you take an exam, and then you—it's just fantastic stuff you probably never heard before taught by Dr. Chuck Missler, and Ron [Matsen], and many others. Well, uh, let’s be precise first of all. Uh, the Nephilim is a term from the Scripture. It’s a hybrid that resulted from the mischief of the fallen angels in Genesis 6, as one of two at least. It also happened, uh, in the land of Canaan, uh. You need to understand that, uh, the Nephilim show up throughout the Old Testament. And so it’s a biblical term. We know a lot about it because the Scripture tells us about them. The UFOs are a whole other area that most people who research them tend to draw the inference that they’re somehow related to them, for a number of legitimate reasons. But they're still speculations. You need to understand that. The problem with the UFOs—it happens that it enjoys a military classification that's higher than our most sensitive warheads, strangely. And so it’s a very difficult place to research.[liv]
First of all, the Word of God does NOT tell us “a lot about the Nephilim.” Genesis 6 is a very controversial and obscure passage in the Bible that has led many PPP leaders (including Missler) into an occult nightmare land attempting to seek additional insights from outside the written Word of God. We have dealt in detail with these issues in previous articles.[lv] Secondly, UFOs are “difficult to research” because there can be no solid data on their existence, only “speculations” that supplant the Scriptures—regardless of the purported military secrets surrounding them. (Be sure to examine the footnotes at the bottom of this article and follow the many links to previous articles we have authored on this controversial subject of an emerging nephilim UFO eschatology.)

…if you're really a serious researcher, I encourage you to get a copy of Exo-Vaticana. That's a very strange title that Tom Horn and Cris Putnam have put on their book, but it’s probably the best, uh, with scholastic analysis, of the UFO and exobiology area that I've seen in recent years. And I follow that area fairly closely. So, understand though, that the UFO area is a different area to research, but it's generally associated with the, uh, the Nephilim and all that. You can't get into the Nephilim today without being aware of L.A. Marzulli's books and research and the discoveries he's made throughout the world, finding skeletons of the Nephilim. So, that's a fascinating area [laughs] for some. Uh, it astonishes me to discover through the years that our crazy book--way back--a book called Alien Encounters that Mark Eastman and I did--way, way back--has been the springboard for more people to come to the Lord Jesus Christ than you can imagine. Partly because the book was packaged to look like a New Age book when it really wasn't. And therefore, people could give it to their friends without embarrassment. But I remember one guy was very angry said that I had to read ten chapters before I discovered this was a Christian book [laughs with audience]! But anyway, uh, so that's an area that has a lot of attention. We do have a lot of materials on it…[lvi]
Missler neglected to mention the full title of Horn & Putnam’s book: Exo-Vaticana: Petrus Romanus, Project L.U.C.I.F.E.R., and the Vatican’s Astonishing Plan for the Arrival of an Alien Savior. There is a caption on the book’s cover that reads: “With Introduction from Dr. Chuck Missler.”[lvii] This book was also published by Horn. Any “scholastic analysis of the UFO and exobiology” contained Exo-Vaticana does not come from the Bible. Neither does any so-called archeological “evidence” of “Nephilim skeletons” or even “alien implants” that Marzulli also peddles to the masses.[lviii] We examined Exo-Vaticana in a previous post.[lix]
As for Alien Encounters being “the springboard for more people to come to the Lord Jesus Christ” than can be imagined? This is highly debatable since Missler quotes more from demonic “space alien” transmissions (recorded by New Age channelers) than he does from Scripture.[lx] Sadly, Missler does have “a lot of materials” on the subject of UFOs, extraterrestrials, and space aliens for further audience consumption, as Clement’s flock with no doubt discover.
Missler’s response then provokes a follow-up question: “…when the Nephilim come back, will they have changed in their image? Will they look different? What will they look like…?” Take note of the strange new doctrine that he introduces concerning angels:
We don't know, we don't know. But I would—we [laughs] we do know that fallen angels are different than demons, by the way—small point. We use the term ‘demonic’ as a catch-all phrase, but the demons seem to be power wise except to the extent that they control a personality through an entry. Fallen angels—angels can materialize. They can take people by the hand, they can indulge in combat, they, they can—we’re told in the Scripture—that many have entertained angels unawares. So when we're talking about angels that's one thing. When we're talking about Nephilim—those are hybrid offspring. And we have no idea, uh, what that really leads to. There's a lot of speculations, but I don't want to get into that here in this context.[lxi]
By his response, Missler affirms that he believes “the Nephilim” are coming back in the end times (something that the Bible does not teach), by stating that he doesn’t know what they will look like when they finally do materialize. Then throws his audience a Nephilim curve ball: “we do know that fallen angels are different than demons,” as though this teaching is definitively found in Scripture. It is not. It is actually derived from rampant speculation about extraterrestrials, UFOs, Nephilim, and other such foreboding creatures, and by mixing occult sources with the Word of God. Tragically, this is the sort of dark extra-biblical quagmire students of Missler face with each book, article, or lecture. (Again, we urge the reader to examine the many footnotes at the bottom of this article.)

THE TRUTH:
Take careful heed of Matthew Henry’s exposition of Matthew 7:15:
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.” (Matt. 7:15-17)
Nothing so much prevents men from entering the strait gate, and becoming true followers of Christ, as the carnal, soothing, flattering doctrines of those who oppose the truth. They may be known by the drift and effects of their doctrines. Some part of their temper and conduct is contrary to the mind of Christ. Those opinions come not from God that lead to sin.[lxii]
“What thing shall I take to witness for thee? What thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? For thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee? Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.” (Lamentations 2:13-14)
